Mama Mary

Melissa
Seeing Mama Mary's compassionate heart led Melissa to start visiting local detention centers alongside Mama Mary. Together, their passion for supporting those feeling alone and trapped in a foreign country started Set Captives Free, bringing hope and encouragement to those in need.
Melissa took leadership of Set Captives free when Mary returned to Kenya. Since then, we continue to visit women in prison, support them with legal advocacy, help them buy plane tickets home, and collect items to distribute to the women after their release.
